The TG1600 Music Server offers enormous music storage capacity-more than 3,000,000 hours of CD-quality digital audio (256kbps) using MP3 encoding. This phenomenal capacity, made possible by the unit's large hard drive, enables music lovers to store an entire music library-hundreds of CDs or thousands of songs-and instantly access them by artist, album, or custom playlists created by the user. The TG1600 offers independent outputs so that songs can be heard before adding to the play list without interupting the main playback. Music can be loaded into the TG1600 from either its built-in CD drive, from an external audio source via its USB digital inputs, or from a PC via network. The TG1600 connects directly to the Internet using its Ethernet connection to interface with a network connection for instant CDDB (Compact Disk Data Base) information. TG 1600 is the Pentium 4 version of our music servers. Optional dual hard drives for secure backup of your songs.
